Local rock groups joined together on Friday, Sept. 23, at 191 Toole in Tucson to put on a show for the local lovers. 

​

Bands Rosemonte, Kulululu, The Basements and Bummer Girl are all Arizona local bands —  Rosemonte and Bummer Girl being from Phoenix and Kulululu and The Basements from Tucson.

The Basements debut EP release: Long Stories Get Short

Local Tucson alternative indie band, The Basements, are having an EP release show on May 6 at 191 Toole. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

The tickets for this all-ages event start at $10 for the pre-sale and go up to $12 at the door on the night of the event.

Who are The Basements?

From rehearsing in a basement that could hardly fit a drum set to the big stage of Dusk Music Festival in downtown Tucson’s Jacomé Plaza, the fledgling band, The Basements have experienced their first taste of what it's like to be rock stars in the spotlight. 

UA students win Dusk 2021 Battle of the Bands

Seven local bands brought their diverse musical talent to the stage of Club Congress to compete for a chance to perform at Dusk Music Festival on Nov. 13 to 14.

The Dusk 2021 Battle of the Bands included Black Gryph0n & Baasik, Crashing Saturn, Lo Blow, Mutual Friend, Noah Martin Band, Stripes and The Basements who all performed Friday, Oct. 1, in hopes of winning the spot to open at the upcoming festival.
